Film Up! – Short Film Competition
Eotvos Lorand University and Inforpark Foundation have announced its call for short films that highlight students’ research activities. Our objective is to demonstrate the diversity of knowledge generated at the 8 faculties of our university and enhance cooperation across disciplines.
The competition is open to ELTE doctoral and master students with research project. Application is accepted from individuals or groups of max. 3 persons. Films can be of any disciplines, but priority is given to films with multidisciplinary approach.
Closing date for submissions is 15 February 2015.
Films must be under 8 minutes and be submitted on CD/DVD. Acceptable format is MPEG, AVI, FLV, MOV, WMV and size for submission is 2 Gbyte and min. resolution is 720p or 1080p.
All entries will be viewed by a jury committee. Awards will be presented on ELTE Innovation Day in February 2015 and the best short films will be screened during the breaks.
ELTE Center for Innovation, Technology Transfer and Grant Affairs will provide financial support for conference participation of best film-makers:
1st prize – 125.000 HUF
2nd prize – 75.000 HUF
3rd prize – 50.000 HUF
Inforpark Foundation will award 1-1 laptop computer to students with the best 3 entries.

opportunities for wider use of innovative education methods and exploring barriers.
SIMpLe project aims to boost innovation potential of participating universities.
The interactive and online exhibition will provide some inspiration, idea that
can support education.

Ltd. launched together a project with the cooperation of the Central European University
as an external partner, in order to raise awareness on these aspects, to improve
competencies and to develop a thorough and effective entrepreneurial curriculum
in particular for non-business students.
